Limerick Tunnel Nears Completion

In July 2010 the Limerick Tunnel crossing the Shannon is due to open, finally eliminating the notorious Limerick city bottlenecks of the Dock and Condell Roads. Of course the Tunnel will be tolled.

Here at TollTag.ie we are busy ensuring that we are ready to go as soon as the Tunnel opens and If you are already a Tolltag.ie customer, your TollTag will work at this new plaza and you may use the express lanes where provided.

Dublin-Cork Motorway Completed!

On Friday 28th June the final leg of the Dublin-Cork Motorway opened. On the plus side the journey from Cork to Dublin is now entirely motorway and the days of crawling through villages on the way are thankfully history. The not so good news is that this final section of road is tolled at Portlaoise where a new Toll Plaza opened.

If you are already a Tolltag.ie customer, your TollTag will work at this new plaza and you may use the express lanes where provided. If you are not a TollTag customer, why not consider getting a tag? Toll roads are now a fact of life in Ireland so if you have to pay to use the roads why not make the experience as easy as possible? with a TollTag you can breeze on through the express lanes, without a toll tag, you will need to queue at the coin lanes on your valuable time.

Dublin - Limerick M7 Makes Progress. Route Tolled.

On Friday 28th May a further leg of the Dublin-Limerick Motorway opened bypassing Mountrath and continuing towards Limerick for approximately 10KM where M7 construction continues.This new section of road is tolled at Portlaoise where a new Toll Plaza has opened.

M3 Clonee- Kells Motorway Opens

On Friday 4th June the Clonee-Kells M3 Motorway opened. This road comprises more than 60km of Motorway/Dual carriageway and has two toll plazas. One plaza is located south of Dunshaughlin and the second in south of Kells.

If you are already a Tolltag.ie customer, your TollTag will work at this new plaza and you may use the express lanes where provided.
